Homogeneity and quality consistency
The raw material is processed by lots which are homogenised. The resulting R-PVC is then of good quality consistency, better than for an industrial waste source, where the processor is dependent on individual lots.
Quality control
|

|
Each lot of raw material is characterised by its origin, and is analysed : content of PVC compound, content in copper (for cable waste), granulometry. Homogenisation silo The R-PVC is packed in big bags which are identified by a unique number, the raw material lot and the date of production
The product is analysed on:
-
Characteristics of the powder: contamination content, granulometry, bulk density, volatile (water) content;
-
Characteristics on a pressed plate: density, shore A hardness, rupture and elongation.

Alternative source of material
In case of shortage, Vinyloop® R-PVC is an alternative source of raw material.
Price steadiness
The price of R-PVC, to the contrary of plasticiser and PVC resins, is not at all dependent on PVC or plasticiser raw material prices. Prices can be agreed upon over a longer period of time.
Sampling
Vinyloop Ferrara can provide samples for lab tests and larger samples for industrial scale tests. Just ask for a sample by clicking here.
Grade adjustments
Two means exist to adapt the product to customer requirements:
-
add to the extracted PVC additives like plasticiser, colour masterbatch.
-
mix raw materials: example add a rigid waste to cable waste to get a higher shore hardness.
Vinyloop can study each of these solutions, in partnership with clients. Contact us!.
Reduce waste by Closed loop recycling
Some industrial waste of mixed composition, like selvages from PVC/PE blisters, artificial leather cut-offs, have no other alternative than land-fill. Vinyloop is the solution to recober the PVC compound and reprocess it.
