The graph compares eco-efficiency of the treatment of cable waste. The Vinyloop, landfill, incineration and identified feedstock recycling processes are examined. The best economical results are in the right part of the graph, and the best environmental performances in the upper part.
Feedstock recycling technologies decompose the molecules and yield basic chemicals: chlorine, calcium chloride, sodium chloride.

Vinyloop is not classified as a "chemical recycling technology" but rather as a "mechanical technology" because it conserves the molecular structure of the components. By simply dissolving the PVC compound and bringing it back to a solid state by precipitation, Vinyloop uses far less non renewable energy than competitive chemical recycling technologies.
The output PVC compound a higher economical value than basic products obtained from competitive processes.
Finally those processes require a far higher gate fee than does Vinyloop.
