General description

Vinyloop is the most powerful process to extract PVC from wastes where PVC is in complex with or mixed to other materials, like for post consumer wastes, where PVC is always mixed with other materials, contaminated with dirt, glue, cement etc.
Limitations to the processing of wastes are regulatory (no contamination with organic substances, medical wastes, PCB), related to worker's safety issues (no dust, nor asbestos, nor glass fibres), technical (no anti-slipping granules, nor solvents) or simply economical : wastes with poor content of PVC should be enriched by pretreatment and sorting.

Contribution to sustainable development   

We consider post consumer wastes as a priority to treat, because it is our reason to exist: to contribute to the initiative of the Vinyls Industry.  But the diversion of post-industrial wastes from landfilling because there is no existing technology to treat them is also important from an eco-efficiency point of view.
Moreover, recycling PVC is proven more eco-efficient than producing virgin materials, and more eco efficient than landfill or incineration.
